1 - Promoter. The Promoter of this prize draw is Luceco PLC., company no 05254883 whose registered office is at Building E Stafford Park 1, Stafford Park, Telford, Shropshire, TF3 3BD

2 - Eligibility. The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.

3 - Agreement to Terms and Conditions. By entering this prize draw, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

4 - How to Enter. The prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.

#LucecoInstall
To enter, simply post photos or video of a Luceco Lighting product installation on your Instagram account and tag it #LucecoInstall for a chance to win a prize, as per the terms below (“Entry”). Entrants will be entered for a chance to win the bi-monthly prize for that particular draw period, and will be chosen at random by software, from all valid entries received and verified by the Promoter and or its agents.

The #LucecoInstall prize draw offers entrants two chances to win when posting and tagging Luceco Lighting product installs.

FIRST PRIZE DRAW (#LucecoInstall) - All Luceco Lighting Products
The first bi-monthly draw will be taken from all valid entries tagging any Luceco Lighting product install.

SECOND PRIZE DRAW (#LucecoInstall) - New Luceco Lighting FType Downlight Range
A second bi-monthly draw will be taken from all valid entries posting an install of the NEW FType Downlights from Luceco Lighting, and tagging it #LucecoInstall.

 

#BGInstall
To enter, simply post photos or video of a BG Electrical product installation on your Instagram account and tag it #BGInstall for a chance to win a prize, as per the terms below (“Entry”). Entrants will be entered for a chance to win the bi-monthly prize for that particular draw period, and will be chosen at random by software, from all valid entries received and verified by the Promoter and or its agents.

#SyncInstall
To enter, simply post photos or video of a BG SyncEV product installation on your Instagram account and tag it #SyncInstall for a chance to win a prize, as per the terms below (“Entry”). Entrants will be entered for a chance to win the bi-monthly prize for that particular draw period, and will be chosen at random by software, from all valid entries received and verified by the Promoter and or its agents.

 

5 - Prize Draw Period. Each prize draw period runs for two consecutive months and will include all valid entries posted within that time period. After this date, entries will be included in the following bi-monthly draw, if any.

6 - Prize Award Process. Multiple, unique entries will be accepted per person, per bi-monthly draw period.  Prizes will be chosen each month by the promoter and announced at the end of each draw period.

7 - Odds of Winning. Odds of winning depends on number of valid entries received.

8 - Prize. One winner in total*. The winner will each brand prize draw (#LucecoInstall, #BGInstall and #SyncInstall) will receive an Amazon Voucher to the value of £250. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. Prizes are subject to availability and the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so, and without giving notice.

* A further winner will be drawn for the #LucecoInstall prize draw when tagging an install of the NEW FType downlights from Luceco Lighting.

The Actual Retail Value (ARV) of the prize is subject to price fluctuations in the consumer marketplace based on, among other things, any gap in time between the date the ARV is estimated for purposes of these Official Rules and the date the prize is awarded or redeemed. Any difference between the ARV and the actual value of a prize will not be awarded to the winner.

 

9 - CONDITIONS OF PHOTO and VIDEO SUBMISSION:

a, Photos and Videos may be in colour or black-and-white. May be reels, single tile posts or carousels.

b, Any Entry which Promoter, in its sole discretion, deems to be inappropriate for publication will not be considered and the corresponding entrant will be disqualified. An Entry cannot (i) be sexually explicit or suggestive, unnecessarily violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group, profane or pornographic, contain nudity or any materially dangerous activity; (ii) promote alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing), any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous, or any particular political agenda or message; (iii) be obscene or offensive, endorse any form of hate or hate group; (iv) defame, misrepresent or contain disparaging remarks about Promoter or its products, or other people, products or companies; (v) contain trademarks, logos or trade dress owned by others, or advertise or promote any brand or product of any kind, other than Promoter’s, without permission, or contain any personal identification, such as license plate numbers, personal names, e-mail addresses or street addresses; (vi) contain copyrighted materials owned by others; (viii) communicate messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or goodwill to which Promoter wishes to associate; or (ix) depict, or itself be, in violation of any law.

 

c, By submitting an Entry each entrant represents and warrants that: (i) his/her photo and image description are the sole and original creations of the entrant and have not been copied in whole or in part from any other work; (ii) the Entry does not violate or infringe any copyright, trademark/tradename, or other proprietary right of any person (including but not limited to rights of privacy or publicity or portrayal in a false light) or entity; (iii) the Entry is the sole and exclusive property of the entrant; (iv) the subject(s) and/or persons depicted in any of the photo and/or image description, if any, have given written consent to its submission into the Prize Draw and use as contemplated by these Terms and Conditions; (v) the Entry has not been previously published; (vi) entrant owns or otherwise has rights to use all elements of the Entry; (vii) the Entry has not won previous awards; (viii) publication of the Entry on social media platforms and websites, or any other manner permitted hereunder will not infringe on the rights of any third party. Entrant will indemnify and hold harmless the Promoter and social media networks on which the Prize Draw may be entered from any claims arising out of the Promoter’s use of the Entries as authorized hereunder; and (iv) entrant has not won any prizes via Promoter’s Prize Draw or other marketing campaign within the past 90 days.

 

d, By submitting an entry, entrant hereby grants to Promoter a royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual and worldwide license to use and display the photo, in whole or in part, contained in the entry, Promoter’s social media page, and otherwise use the Prize Draw entry in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, without compensation of any kind or further notice to or approval from participant or any third party. The Promoter is not responsible for any unauthorized third-party use of any Prize Draw entry photo. Subject to the rights granted to the Promoter, entrants retain all copyright in any entry photo submitted. Promoter does not guarantee that any Entry will be posted. Subject to the rights granted to Promoter, all Entrants (if a minor, his/her parent or legal guardian) retains all copyright in the photo.

 

e, By submitting an Entry, you agree that your submission is gratuitous and made without restriction, and will not place Promoter under any obligation and that Promoter is free to use or otherwise disclose the ideas contained in the Entry on a non-confidential basis to anyone, or otherwise use the ideas without any additional compensation to you. You acknowledge that, by acceptance of your submission, Promoter does not waive any rights to use similar or related ideas previously known to Promoter, or developed by its employees, or obtained from sources other than you. By entering, you acknowledge that Promoter has no obligation to use or post any Entry you submit.

 

10 - Winner Selection and Notification. The winner will be notified through the social media channel that they entered through within 28 calendar days of the closing date, and the winner must provide their fill name, postal address, telephone number and email address to claim their prize. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 calendar days of notification, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above. The prize will be sent to the winner by email within 5 business days of being notified of their win. The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

 

11 - Disputes. As a condition of participating in this Prize Draw, entrant agrees that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this  Prize Draw shall be governed by English law, without respect to conflict of law doctrines, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England. In any such dispute, entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental or consequential damages, including attorneys’ fees.

 

12 - Rights Granted by You and Privacy Policy. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, found at UPDATED PRIVACY POLICY REQUIRED TO COVER THIS and current UK data protection legislation, and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. By participating in the Prize Draw, entrants hereby agree to Promoter’s collection and usage of their personal information and acknowledge that they have read and accepted Promoter’s Privacy Policy.

 

13 - Winner’s List. The winner’s name will be available 28 calendar days after the Prize Draw’s closing date by emailing the following address: info@luceco-marketing.com, and including “Hashtag prize draw Winner’s List Request” in the subject line.

 

14 - No Affiliation with Social Networks. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or Twitter or any other social network. You are providing your information to the Promoter and not to any other party.

 

15 - Right to Modify. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Prize Draw in its discretion. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice.

 

16 - Conditions of Participation. Entries by automatic, programmed or like methods will be disqualified. Improper, or incomplete entries will be disqualified. Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or the website, attempts to undermine the legitimate operation of the Prize Draw by cheating, hacking, deception or other unfair playing practices (including the use of automated quick entry programs), intends to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or the Promoter or otherwise acts in a disruptive manner. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PRIZE DRAW MAY BE A VIOLATION OF LAW AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE PROMOTER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

 

17 - Limitation of Liability. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter or its employees. Your statutory rights are not affected. AS A CONDITION OF ENTERING, ENTRANTS AGREE (AND AGREE TO CONFIRM IN WRITING): (A) TO RELEASE, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS THE PROMOTION PARTIES AND EACH OF THEIR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS, AND FACEBOOK FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY, LOSS OR DAMAGE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH, INCURRED WITH RESPECT TO THE AWARDING, RECEIPT, POSSESSION, AND/OR USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY CLAIM BASED ON COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT, TRADEMARK INFRINGEMENT, MISAPPROPRIATION, FALSE ASSOCIATION, RIGHT OF PUBLICITY, RIGHT OF PRIVACY, DEFAMATION, ANY OTHER INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY-RELATED CAUSE OF ACTION AND/OR BREACH OF CONTRACT; (B) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ENTRANT BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN AWARDS FOR, AND ENTRANT HEREBY WAIVES ALL RIGHTS TO CLAIM, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES, OTHER THAN FOR ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET EXPENSES; (C) ALL CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THIS PRIZE DRAW, OR ANY PRIZE AWARDED, SHALL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION; AND (D) ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS, AND AWARD SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED, EXCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES AND COURT COSTS. ENTRANTS WHO DO NOT COMPLY WITH THESE OFFICIAL RULES OR ATTEMPT TO INTERFERE WITH THIS PRIZE DRAW IN ANY WAY SHALL BE DISQUALIFIED. PROMOTER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE IF PRIZE DRAW CANNOT TAKE PLACE OR IF ANY PRIZE CANNOT BE AWARDED DUE TO ACTS OF GOD, ACTS OF WAR, NATURAL DISASTERS, WEATHER OR ACTS OF TERRORISM.

 

18 - GENERAL PRIZE CONDITIONS: All details and other restrictions of prizes not specified in these Terms and Conditions will be determined by Promoter in its sole discretion. No winner can transfer, assign or redeem for cash their prize or any component of the prize. No substitutions will be allowed, except Promoter reserves the right to substitute prize(s) of comparable value (as determined by Promoter in its sole discretion) if a prize listed or any component of a prize listed is unavailable for any reason. If for any reason, Promoter’s website or any third party social media websites fail or are unable to be utilized by any contestants, no substitute prize or additional compensation will be awarded and the winning entrant and Promoter will have no further obligations to such winning entrants. Promoter may award a different prize, in its sole discretion, if it does not receive a sufficient number of eligible entries. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Prize Draw promotional or informational materials and the terms and conditions of these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail and govern. The winner shall be solely responsible for all applicable taxes resulting from acceptance of the winner’s prize and the reporting consequences thereof. All other costs and expenses not specifically described herein as part of the prize are solely the responsibility of the respective winners.
